Server type

Model name Enter the exact model id your server reports.

Server URL

OpenAI compatible chat completions endpoint. Defaults: LM Studio 1234, Ollama 11434, llama.cpp 8080, KoboldCPP 5001, path /v1/chat/completions.

Where should CHIM use this model?

Dialogue only Recommended Use this local model for in-game dialogue. Other AI tasks continue using OpenRouter. Dialogue + background tasks Also use it for memories, summaries, relationships, profiles, scene handling, and other supporting tasks.

Advanced

API key Optional. Most local servers ignore it, but some require any non empty value.

Timeout (seconds) How long to wait for a reply before giving up. Default 30.

Disable streaming

Off by default. Turn on only if your server returns broken or empty streamed replies.

MiniMe Service

Checks if MiniMe is reachable at the local default endpoint.

TTS Service

TTS ServiceSelect the TTS service you wish to use. Recommended: OmniVoice, PocketTTS or Chatterbox.
You can install OmniVoice, PocketTTS, Chatterbox, XTTS and configure Inworld in CHIM. For provider-specific settings and advanced endpoint editing, use the TTS Connectors page.

STT Service

STT ServiceSelect the STT service you wish to use. Recommended: Parakeet or Deepgram. For provider-specific settings and endpoint editing, use the STT Connectors page.

Player2 Connector

Use Player 2 for LLMs

Route all LLM calls through your local Player2 connector. Model choice stays in the Player2 app.
