📖 How Background Life Works

Getting Started:

Make sure you the game is running and that the NPC is not a current follower (dismiss them).
Look at an NPC in-game and press the Roleplay Wheel Hotkey (CHIM MCM Menu) to add them to Background Life You must save your game for changes to take effect
You can either:
- Talk to the NPC and give commands like: "Go to Riften and then to Whiterun to do X and Y"
- Wait for the configured trigger period (Global Settings, default: 5 in-game days) for them to automatically trigger background life.
- Define a [Life Goals] Section at NPC's profile goals, and let them wander according to their objectives.
They shall now travel around Skyrim.
LLM used for BgL is the one defined as CORE_CONNECTOR_DIRECTOR

NPC Settings:

🎮 Auto Actions: Based on the configured trigger period (Global Settings, default: 24 in-game hours), NPC generates inner thoughts. When enabled, they can autonomously travel to new locations. When disabled, only thoughts are generated.
📍 Hourly Tracking: Tracks NPC coordinates every in-game hour (default is daily) for detailed movement history.

Control Buttons:

Trigger Action: Forces the NPC to generate an action immediately (may move or stay based on AI decision).
Send Letter: Forces the NPC to send you a letter about their current activities. You will need to be in a town so the courier can deliver it.
Update All NPC Coords: Refreshes position tracking for all Background Life NPC.s

💡 Note: Events are triggered automatically based on the configured trigger period (Global Settings, default: 24 in-game hours). The buttons are mainly for testing or forcing immediate updates.
